hi
i have problem on first run before install prairie
i see this problem:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function _() in D:\wamp\www\prairie\prairie\install\installer.php on line 378
please help me to solve this -

Is there a way to modify the script, so instead of subdomains we can use folders Example:
www.site.com/user1 instead of user1.site.com

What sort of security is in place on an OpenID server to prevent someone from providing your OpenID to a website which you have selected to "always allow" from being able to log in as you without providing a password?

i'm trying to install prairie on my server but it says
Either your email server configuration or your email address is incorrect as Prairie failed to send you a test email.
even though i verified the email address and mail server is correct.
what else to check? and where?

Hello all. I have recently tried to install Prairie on my webhosting service. Everything goes well until I get to the page where I enter my database info and email settings. When I click "Install Now" I get the error "Access Denied."
I know it's probably a small setting somewhere, but I do have all my information filled in correctly as according to my hosting service. Any ideas of what's happening?
Any help would be appreciated!
BTW: AroundMe is pretty cool! -

You can register by filling in our registration form.
The link to "registration form" just goes back to the same page, "/register". -

Tom, I'm getting an error on first access attempt to the installer:
at install/installer.php
Fatal error: Call to undefined function _() in /home/botany/public_html/prairie/install/installer.php on line 354
which is
$system_check['result'] = _("PHP MySQL exists");

New issue, I can't seem to manage...
When I'm at my profile page (not logged in) I can click on the maintain link, and login using the email address and password I specified for myself as the first user. The login works. But once logged in, the Manage link disappears and I don't see any other similar options. Across the top of the page, I see Profile, Edit., Account and Logoff.
Seems like i don't have the proper permissions... -
